I am Business Analyst at PPG. Previously, I was a Management Information System student under the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State Behrend.
Since arriving at PPG, I have led development and launch of the organization's most complex low-code application. I'm a Power Platform advocate (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, etc.) and love solving complex data problems. I have significant experience in DAX, SQL, NoSQL, and R. I currently volunteer with small non-profit organizations by providing free data consulting services.
I believe in the importance of giving back to one's community and have taken part in numerous volunteer activities. Just a few of these include creating a database for the Lake Erie Litter Project, being a 6-year event photographer Klein Elementary School, packing food at a local food bank, and assisting the Humanities department with techniques to allow students to record TED-style talks.
At Penn State, I have taken a wide array of courses including Systems Analysis, Website Design and Administration, Database Management, and Principles of Marketing. In these courses, I have created and maintained databases, designed logos and websites for non-profit organizations, led peer groups of students in running a business simulation, and gained an understanding of project management and development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
While being an active member of academic Penn State community, I also enjoy utilizing some free time for a variety of hobbies. A few include graphic design, tennis, kayaking, Snapchat filter design, web design, and listening to music/podcasts.
